Plumbing in Richmond, VA
Local notes on your water utility, common problems and rebates, plus what we can help with.
Richmond is an independent city, and its Department of Public Utilities provides water, sewer and gas service. That is different from most of our service area, where gas comes from a separate company.
Richmond is outside the DC area where most of our work is. We take jobs here, so call us and we will tell you when we can come.

- One utility for water, sewer and gas
- Because the city utility handles all three, the first call about a main-line problem, a gas smell, or a water main issue may be to the city. We can help you work out which side the problem is on.
- Dominion Energy water heater rebate
- Dominion Energy Virginia has a heat pump water heater rebate. Sources conflict on the amount, so verify on Dominion's page.
